'Night Race' Animated Loop

An animated commission for Thrash Racing (www.thrashracing.com).

I've included the main stages of creation, from shooting reference to the final composite - The background was a paintover of a daytime photograph shot by the client. I got to spend some quality time on the character animation with this one which was really fun - It's the first time I've really tried to nail a true anime look. The scene was hand animated in TV Paint, and composited in After Effects, with the background being painted in Photoshop.
