OMAJU Animated Loop

The first question I had when Allan from OMAJU (https://www.omaju.us/) commissioned me for an animated loop was "Can I make it cyberpunk and give you a robot arm?". The answer was yes, so, how could I not?! 😆 I took inspiration from the Japanese artist Tatsuyuki Tanaka, who is an absolute master of strange apocalyptic cyberpunk art. The character was classically animated in TV Paint, the background painted in Photoshop, and I used After Effects to composite and warp the Omaju facemask designs in place.
