Thrash Racing - Store Closing Animation

Thrash Racing (www.thrashracing.com) have commissioned me to create several 80's anime-influenced background loops to promote their racing seats, so I got to spend more time in Photoshop and After Effects pretending I'm an oldschool anime artist working with a pencil and paintbrush - Honestly, brands have no right to be this cool 😜.

The behind-the-scenes video shows the initial sketch, painted layers used in After Effects, and the effects I dropped on top to give it that woozy, VHS vibe.
